When I reflect on our inception back in 2006and the novel approach to consultancy and staff development practices we launched, I realize that businesses who embraced the “we are practitioners” strategy of intervention shares our vision of the type of practices they need to perform to the heights of their abilities.
Our “We are practitioners” sums up the difference between the “I told you so” and the “I achieved this“. The difference between the behind the scenes, off-handed consultancy practices and the practical, hands-on, engaging and leading intervention. Businesses need practitioners who are conscious of their role, understand the intricate relationships of systems, functions and people that need to be carefully managed and who bring their wealth of experience and transfer these into actions with complete, joint ownership of responsibilities between the practitioner and the staff at the company. In addition to their clear awareness of the targeted organizational and leadership culture that need to be established. Now after endless years of work across numerous industries and countries, nothing is clearer to us than the fact that businesses require their “consultants” to bring in the practices, competencies and focus to work. The 21st century brought the most magnificent progress ever witnessed. It made information readily available and easily shared.
However, it is not the mere availability of information that matters, what is really of essence is its usability, the ability of a talented character, trained mind, challenging spirit, and a “can do” attitude to turn information into the targeted outputs through effective actions. When exponential technology advancements are crossing every chart, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and vast computational capabilities are enabling cross boarders’ collaborations and changing the way we live and do business, the only fiction in the years to come will be the notion of the “impossible” that is only created by those who live in and do not possess the will and competencies to break through limitations and realize the opportunities that these major advancements are bringing. What remains to be nurtured is the elusive element of true leadership with enlightened vision, capturing the efforts of employees through enthusiastic engagement while sealing conviction by delivering successes. Only then an organization can rise to its true potential transforming challenges into opportunities and problems into solutions. The true value comes from our strategy to optimize the use of existing resources, empowering these to deliver by dealing with the procedural, systemic, cultural, internal or external limitations the company and its employees face. That was and shall always be the promise we deliver and the claim our results validate.
